Did you know that a Hindu has to undergo and practice a few Samskaras (Sanskara) in his lie time. There are a diverse number of rite of passage in Hinduism, varying by texts between 12 and 18 in the Grhyasutras (Kalpa Shastras). Of these, 16 are referred to as "Shodasha Sanskara" (Sodasa Samskara) are those primarily accepted and performed in a precise order by every Hindu believer.
